Welcome to START

The Social Care Tech: Asking the Right Questions Tool has been designed by researchers from the University of Leeds to improve technology solutions and use in Social Care.

Our mission: Improving the quality of technology companies' approaches to social care providers, helping collaborations be more successful.

How was it developed?

START is based on governmental and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) frameworks, as well as our research into the challenges social care providers face in implementing tech solutions more effectively.

How does it work?

START is not a tick-box exercise. We want it to stimulate conversation within and between the social care sector and technology companies. You can fill out the tool, use it to write notes or as a prompt for wider discussions.
